Medieval Times was good though our knight lost (as usual) It's kind of odd that I haven't had turkey or stuffing yet. Perhaps I'll do what my brother did and go to Boston Market for some Turkey n fixin's.
I hope you all have a happy and safe Thanksgiving. We're going to Medieval Times again like we did last year. It seems to be new tradition. It'll be the 4 of us, my parents, Darren (my brother) and my Grandma. The show begins at 4pm but I've gotta get there early to ensure we get front row seating (it's assigned first come first serve) Take care and be safe!

Valerie and I saw it a couple days ago. For those who've enjoyed Quentin Tarantino's previous movies (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction & Jackie Brown) you MUST check this movie out!
It's over-the-top fun!
I caught bits n pieces though the clouds. It seems anytime something cool happens like that, it's either cloudy or raining!
You have a choice tonight...
CBS: The Elizabeth Smart Story at 8pm
NBC: Saving Jessica Lynch at 8pm
ABC: Alias at 8pm
I want to see all of them and since my DirecTV dish is down because we got a new roof, it's gonna be tricky.
Those of you who know me pretty well are aware of my issues with Hollywood's lack of destroying Chicago. (was that even a coherent sentence?)
Anyway... time and time again the big budget special effects movies tend to focus their special effects magic on New York and Los Angles, while leaving Chicago to the imagination.
In ID4 we witnessed aliens attacking NY, LA & DC while only a passing mention that Chicago got destroyed too.
In Armageddon they spent a shitload of money on the special effects destroying Manhattan with asteroid fragments.
In Deep Impact we got to see what happens when a 1000+ foot wave crashes against Manhattan.
Godzilla wreaked havoc in the streets of Manhattan eventually laying eggs in Madison Square Garden.
The list could go on and on if I spent the time looking for more!
Well... in typical Hollywood fashion... All hell's gonna break loose in New York when Fox's upcoming "The Day After Tomorrow" hit theaters in Summer 2004. http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/dayaftertomorrow/ Check it out.... it looks be to be next summer's mega-hit.
If a city needs to be destroyed by a horrible catastrophe, New York is apparently what the main stream public wants to see destroyed. Why? What's wrong with Chicago? You'd think that after destroying New York a dozen or more times on the big screen that they'd decide to move on to other major cities!
My advice... DESTROY CHICAGO!
... you may want to buy it soon!
Apparently Disney only shipped 25 million copies and they sold 8 million yesterday alone! So some are predicting shortages. If the kids expect it under the tree... be safe... BUY IT TODAY!
