The War is Pretty Much Over!

Netflix today has pounded yet another nail into HD-DVD's coffin. This makes me really happy. I can now finally buy some movies! I haven't bought a movie on DVD for the last 18 months waiting for the format war to end. While I did buy an HD-DVD player before X-mas with Wal-Mart's $98 deal... it wasn't a risk at all since I needed a new upconverting player with HDMI out anyway. And a fine upconverting player it is! Now I just need to get a Blu-ray player!
